Intelligent Database Solutions, Inc. announces its new SQL Server Backup solution is coming soon

Intelligent Database Solutions, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of SQL Cloud Backup 0.10, a new beta version of our SQL backup tool for SQL Server 2005-2012 databases. This beta version will be faster, safer, more efficient, and easier to use than ever, offering significant performance improvements over the previous version.

Among the improvements offered in this beta version is remote management of SQL database backups from the cloud. In previous versions, backups from the cloud could only be accessed and downloaded to the computer on which SQL Cloud Backup was installed. This beta offers the functionality of connecting to the SQL Cloud Backup service from a remote computer. However, this feature is optional and may be disabled to minimize security risks. Another key improvement is transaction log deduplication. This feature dramatically reduces the backup storage required for databases that have large transaction logs by only saving the information that has changed from the previous backup. This beta version also offers significantly increased upload preparation speed when uploading backups of large databases.

Intelligent Database Solutions, Inc. has been working hard to improve of SQL Cloud Backup. We are pleased with the progress we have made.
